LCU provides pastors, ministers and church members with Spirit-filled, Word of Faith, Bible training in their own home town.  Students can keep their current jobs, avoid the difficulty of relocating and continue to minister within their local congregations.

LCU believes in employing live instructors rather than relying on videotaped lectures.  Students receive an impartation as they sit under the anointing of gifted teachers.

Students attend class one evening per week for three hours of study, taking only one concentrated course at a time.  Additional work required for the course, such as reading the text books and writing research papers as required, is done by the student at home on their own time.

LCU is accredited through the Accrediting Commission International, Transworld Accrediting Commission International, and the Biblical Accrediting Association.

The University offers degrees ranging from Diplomas, Associates Degrees, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees.
